The Process & Tuition
Admissions is a thoughtful, collaborative process focused on strong fit. We serve students ready for sustained academic work, inquiry, and independent thinking within a calm, structured setting.

Step 1: Initial Inquiry & Conversation
Families begin with an initial conversation to learn more about Waterford Ridge School and to share information about their child’s interests, strengths, and learning profile. This step allows families to ask questions and helps determine whether the program may be a good fit.
Step 2: Student Visit & Family Meeting
Students are invited to an individual, age-appropriate visit where faculty observe how they think, engage with materials, and approach challenges. This is an opportunity to ensure a strong fit.
Children who are 4 by September 30 may be placed in either the Early Childhood or Elementary program based on readiness.
Step 3: Admission Decision & Enrollment
Admission decisions are made thoughtfully, considering both the individual student and the classroom community. Families are notified promptly, and enrollment details are shared with those offered placement.
Tuition
Program & Tuition
Waterford Ridge School offers a full-day, 5-day program from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Early Childhood and Elementary students.
Elementary (PreK4–2nd Grade)
$20,000 annually (10-month program)
Early Childhood (Ages 2.5–4)
$19,200 annually (12-month program)
Optional aftercare is available until 5:00 p.m. for $200/month.
Tuition is contracted annually, with pay-in-full or monthly options. A non-refundable deposit secures enrollment.
What Tuition Includes
Tuition includes core academics, guided inquiry, enrichment, specialist instruction, outdoor learning, and a daily shared lunch. All materials and programming are included.
Calendar & Meals
The Elementary program follows a 10-month academic calendar; Early Childhood operates year-round. Summer camp is available to enrolled Elementary students.
A simple, shared lunch is provided daily. Families share allergy and dietary information upon enrollment.
